Sehrish Khan       Saturday, July 1, 2017
Islamic dua after you have finished eating meal or food with Arabic, English and Urdu translation: Here is another well-known daily dua that you must memorise and make it part of your regular recitation (each time you finish your meal). The dua is easy to memorise. Moreover I have included an English transliteration.

English Translation: "All Praise belongs to Allah who gave us food and drink and made us Muslims"

English Transliteration: "Alhamdulillahil lazi at-amana wasaqaana waja-alana muslimeen"

Benefits

  • All past sins will be forgiven (Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "He who has taken food and says at the end (the dua to thank God for food), "all his sins will be forgiven" - Tirmidhi, Riyad as Salihin 734)
  • Food will increase. There will be no shortage of food at all.
  • Barakah in food will grow.
  • You will start finding your food full of taste. (The same food that others may not find tasty, you will enjoy the meal while satisfying your hunger)
  • You will start getting nutritious and healthy meal every time.
  • Every meal/food will become an act of worship as every time you touch or eat food, it reminds you of how powerful, merciful and intelligent Allah is.
  • You will become appreciative of other blessings as well (such as your health, mind, rizq/money, family, technology, people and a countless other things)
  • Your love and appreciation for God will increase each day.
  • Your faith in Allah will keep growing stronger and stronger each day.
