Those who try to witness Laylatul Qadr also wonder about the signs of this night as they want to be sure whether they witnessed it or not.
Let's talk about the signs of Laylatul Qadr in light of Hadiths:
Sign # 1) It is a calm night
According to a Hadith, Laylatul Qadr is a soft and gentle night.
Sign # 2) It's neither hot nor cold
Hadith tells us that Laylatul Qadr is not hot. It's not cold either. It's a very cool and comforting night.
Sign # 3) The Sun is reddish complexion and its rays are weak
The Sun rising on that day (the following morning) is pure without strong rays. The Sun, on the following morning (of the Night of Power), has weak rays and it's a reddish color.
Hadith
Ibn Abbas reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said regarding the Night of Decree, “It is a calm night, neither hot nor cold, and the sun arises on it red and feeble.” [Ṣaḥīḥ Ibn Khuzaymah 2049]
