Having humility and humbleness is a great human trait and the one Islam puts so much emphasis on.
God does not like those who don't show humility and humbleness because absence of it often manifests in pride and arrogance.
Here's a beautiful dua prayer to ask Allah for humility.
Arabic text
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي
أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لاَ يَنْفَعُ وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لاَ يَخْشَعُ وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ
لاَ تَشْبَعُ وَمِنْ دُعَاءٍ لايُسْمَعُ
Transliteration:
Allahumma inni auzu bika min ilmil laa yanfa'u wa min qalbil la yakhsha'u wa min nafsil la tashba'u wa min dua-ill la usma'u
English translation
“O Allah, I seek refuge with You from
knowledge that is of no benefit, a heart that is not humble, a soul that is not
satisfied and a supplication that is not heard.” [Hadith; Nasa’i 5536]
