The month of Ramadan is a great blessing from Allah upon humans and we must prepare to spend it in the most productive way taught by Prophet Mohammad ﷺ.
Here is a short yet beautiful dua you can
recite after you see the Ramadan Moon. You can recite this supplication after
you see the Ramadan Moon. If you don't get to sight the Moon yourself, you
should recite it after you hear about it from someone else or the media.
اللَّهُمَّ أَهْلِلْهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْيُمْنِ وَالإِيمَانِ وَالسَّلاَمَةِ وَالإِسْلاَمِ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ
Allahumma ahlilhu `alainā bil-yumni wal-iman, wass-salamati wal-Islam, rabbi wa rabbuk Allah
O Allah, let us see the new moon in a state of good fortune, faith, safety and submission. My Lord and your Lord is Allah.|
