Please remember that the time before iftar is very important for the acceptance of duas and supplications. So, make sure you make the most from this amazing dua. Moreover, you should sit silently before Maghrib azaan and keep making your desired duas.
Dua to recite before breaking your fast and starting your iftar in Ramada, along with Arabic text, English translation and transliteration |
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ صُمْتُ وَعَلَى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ
Allahumma laka summtu wa ala rizqika aftartu
O Allah ! I have fasted for You, and with Your food I break my fast. [Abu Dawud 2358]
After you have broken your fast.....
⚨ Say Bismillah (or best if you can recite the authentic dua before eating)
⚨ Start eating your iftar
⚨ Right after opening fast or finished eating Iftar, recite dua taught by Prophet Mohammad ﷺ.
