Allah, the God of everything existing in the universe and beyond, is the most merciful and generous to His creation, but He is also the all Compelling. When we make mistakes and stubbornly or insist on our wrongdoing without reviewing ourselves, we run the risk of attracting Allah's anger/wrath.
Here is a powerful dua from Quran to avoid anger of Allah. We never know where we are wrong because our actions are often driven by our ego/self and logic. This makes it very important for us to seek Allah's mercy and avoid His anger at all costs.
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kunnt minaz-zalimeen
There is no one worthy of worship beside You. Glorified are You. Surely, I am from among the wrongdoers
One thing that should be kept in our mind is that Allah wrath of Allah is not bigger than His mercy as there is a verse in Quran that talks about it. Recite this dua over and over again, with its meaning in your mind.
In Surah Al A'raf, verse 156:
"My punishment - I afflict with it whom I will, but My mercy encompasses all things"
When Allah becomes angry, or what angers Him the most?
Pride is the most serious crime that angers Allah the most. Listen to this video, with a hadith mentioned. Pride is the result of ignorance, arrogance, ego and stubborn behaviour.
