Who deserves God's curse? 13 Quran verses tell

 Allah has cursed certain types of people in the Quran and such people will be subjected to torment and punishment on the Day of Judgement.  

Islam is a religion of peace and Allah's mercy is all encompassing but those who reject faith and do not obey's Allah's commands will be punished for their willful ignorance, stubbornness and denial. 

Does Allah, Who is the Most Merciful and Compassionate, curse on His creation? If yes, then who are the type of people who deserve God's curse? Here are more than a dozen Quran verses that talk about why and whom God curses.

1-  Al-Baqara (The Cow) - 2:89 

"And when there comes to them a Book from Allah, confirming what is with them,- although from of old they had prayed for victory against those without Faith,- when there comes to them that which they (should) have recognized, they refuse to believe in it but the curse of Allah is on those without Faith." 

This verse indicates that Allah has cursed the people who refuse to accept faith and the message given to them. 

2-Al-Baqara (The Cow) - 2:161

"Those who reject Faith, and die rejecting,- on them is Allah's curse, and the curse of angels, and of all mankind."

3-Al-Imran (The Family of Imran) - 3:61

If any one disputes in this matter with thee, now after (full) knowledge Hath come to thee, say: "Come! let us gather together,- our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves: Then let us earnestly pray, and invoke the curse of Allah on those who lie!"

4-Al-Imran (The Family of Imran) - 3:87 

"Of such the reward is that on them (rests) the curse of Allah, of His angels, and of all mankind."

5-Al-A'raf (The Heights) - 7:44

"The Companions of the Garden will call out to the Companions of the Fire: "We have indeed found the promises of our Lord to us true: Have you also found Your Lord's promises true?" They shall say, "Yes"; but a crier shall proclaim between them: "The curse of Allah is on the wrong-doers."

6-At-Tauba (The Repentance) - 9:68 

"Allah hath promised the Hypocrites men and women, and the rejecters, of Faith, the fire of Hell: Therein shall they dwell: Sufficient is it for them: for them is the curse of Allah, and an enduring punishment."

7-Hud (The Prophet Hud) - 11:18

"Who doth more wrong than those who invent a lie against Allah. They will be turned back to the presence of their Lord, and the witnesses will say, "These are the ones who lied against their Lord! Behold! the Curse of Allah is on those who do wrong."

8-Al-Nour (The Light) - 24:7

"And the fifth (oath) (should be) that they solemnly invoke the curse of Allah on themselves if they tell a lie."

9-Al-Qasas (The Narration) - 28:42

"In this world We made a curse to follow them and on the Day of Judgment they will be among the loathed (and despised)."

10-Suad - 38:78 

"And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment."

11-Muhammad - 47:23

"Such are the men whom Allah has cursed for He has made them deaf and blinded their sight."

12-Al-Fath (The Victory) - 48:6

"And that He may punish the Hypocrites, men and women, and the Polytheists men and women, who imagine an evil opinion of Allah. On them is a round of Evil: the Wrath of Allah is on them: He has cursed them and got Hell ready for them: and evil is it for a destination."

13-Al-Munafiqun (The Hypocrites) - 63:4 

"When thou lookest at them, their exteriors please thee; and when they speak, thou listenest to their words. They are as (worthless as hollow) pieces of timber propped up, (unable to stand on their own). They think that every cry is against them. They are the enemies; so beware of them. The curse of Allah be on them! How are they deluded (away from the Truth)!"
