Islam has taught us etiquette and manners for every area of life.
It is normal for people to fall ill or sick and when it comes to the people related to us it becomes obligatory for us to pay visit to them and make special dua for them.
No dua can be better than the one supplicated by Prophet Mohammad ﷺ so we are going to learn it as it is mentioned in a famous Hadith.
Hadith
Ibn Abbas said, "when the Prophet may Allah bless him and grant him peace, visited a sick person, he would sit by his head and then say seven times (the below mentioned dua). If the time (death) of the patient had not come yet, he would be cured of his pain," (Abu Dwoos, Tirmidhi Book 7, Hadith 906)

Hadith
The Prophet ﷺ visited a Bedouin who was sick. Whenever he visited an ailing person, He would say:
لا بَأْسَ طَهُورٌ إنْ شَاءَ اللهُ
La ba'sa tahoorun Insha Allah
No harm (it will be a) purification (from sins), if Allah wills (Riyad As Salihin 907)
Learn these two duas by heart and recite them whenever you are visiting a patient, whether in a hospital or at their place (home etc).
