In the Quran, God says:
"If you are grateful, I will increase you" [Surah Ibrahim 7]
Allah has encouraged believers to consciously choose to give thanks to Him for His endless blessings and fadl on His creation.
"And it is He Who has made the night and the day, each following the other, for he who desires to remember or desire gratitude." [Surah Furqan 62]The above-mentioned Quran verse tells us that Allah wants us to nurture gratitude by becoming conscious of His favors upon us and express it through our heart and tongue as well.
So what can be better than a supplication taught by Allah and His Messenger SAW? Here are four duas from the Quran and Hadiths.

Rabbi auzi'ni an ashkura ni'matakal-lati an'amta alayya wa-ala walidayyaBecoming thankful to Allah is something Prophets AS sought and we should also strive to develop an attitude of gratitude. The Quran is clear about those who become grateful to God for His blessings and those who show ingratitude.
