بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ اَرْقِیْکَ مِنْ کُلِّ شَیٍْٔ یُّؤْذِیْکَ مِنْ شَرِّ کُلِّ نَفْسٍ اَوْ عَیْنٍ حَاسِدٍ اَللّٰہُ یَشْفِیْکَ بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ اَرْقِیْکَ
English Transliteration: Bismillahi arqeeka min kulli shai-in yu'zeeka min shar-ri kulli nafsin ao aynin haasidin Allahu yashfeeka bismillahi arqeeka
Translation: In the name of Allah, I blow on you from everything that can harm you from the evil of every soul or jealous eye. May Allah heal you. In the name of Allah, I blow on you.
Evil eye is something to be very cautious of. There is no need to be afraid as long as you are reciting the above mentioned dua and other powerful duas such as Surah falaq-naas and other protection duas. But we must be on our guard at all times. The best way to stave off the dangers of evil eye is to keep acknowledging Allah and doing His zikr recommended by Prophet Mohammad Peace Be Upon Him. Dwelling on the attributes of Allah itself is a powerful remedy.
An stare or gaze (look) that is devoid of zikr of Allah is the soft target for shaitan (Satan) suggestions and attacks and this is how evil eye works. Allah likes it when we appreciate His workings (blessings, creation, favours, all His attributes) and when we don't give Him credit for His works (His blessings around us in the form of health, wealth, relations, food, water, technology, cars, industries, wisdom, etc), He unleashes shayateen on him/her.
"And whoever turns himself away from the remembrance (zikr) of Rahman (The Compassionate), We appoint for him a shaitan"
