Anger must be avoided at all costs because it is the most negative emotion and Prophet Mohammad Peace Be Upon Him has warned us against its risks and evil.
Even in Quran, Allah has mentioned how much He loves those who avoid anger and forgive others for their mistakes and shortcomings. When we are angry, we actually give up our control and free will, letting shaitan take over and rule our destiny.
So, don't let other people, shaitan and your nafs control your mind and heart.

Transliteration: Rabbi auzu bika min-hamazaatish-shayateeni wa-auzu bika rabbi ann yahzuroon
English translation: "My Lord ! I seek refuge with You from the whispering of shaitain (devil). And I seek refuge with You, My Lord, lest they should come near me" Surah Al Muminun - Verse 97-98
