Since Eid ul Fitr is the celebration for completion of the days of fasting in the month of the Quran, our sincere thanks must go to the Lord. And what could be better than reciting Quran Surahs and specific verses revealed in this regard.
Allah says in the Quran:
1) Surah Fatiha
Since Allah wants us to express thanks for the completion of Ramadan, reflecting on Surah Fatiha is something you can do as part of your Quran reading on the Eid day.
Surah Fatiha is all about gratitude (shukr) and acknowledging Allah for His favours, blessings and guidance. So read Surah Fatiha on Eid ul Fitr as much as you can or after each salah. Recite it, reflect upon each verse and ponder over how much merciful God is.

2) Surah Yaseen
Surah Yaseen is the heart of the Quran. The Surah also starts by glorifying the Holy Quran. The main focus of this surah is to show that the Qur'an is from God, and it tells people what will happen to them if they don't believe God's words and don't change their ways.
