Is Man Responsible For His Actions in Islam?

Why Man is Responsible For All His Actions?

Because Allah has bestowed upon man many gifts and benefits, he is responsible for his decisions and actions. One among them.  is man's position on Earth to enjoy, maintain, and invest. In order to attain eternal bliss in the Hereafter, Allah set for him limitations that should not be violated, despite the temptation of temporal delight. Reasoning ability, direction, and relative freedom of choice are three of the most conspicuous characteristics that distinguish Man from other organisms.

God endowed responsible creatures (human beings) with the ability to absorb religious teachings that direct them toward what is good, which leads to success and prosperity, and warn them away from what is bad, which leads to failure. The ability to reason is a wonderful gift that comes at a high cost and requires a lot of responsibility from people who have it. No reasonable creature would gladly give up this gift: the capacity to become insane, an ignorant child, or unconscious and therefore be free of responsibility.

Allah provided man with innate guidance. The Prophet of Islam said: “All is born according to the fitrah (natural disposition), but his parents make him a Jew, a Christian, or a Magian...” Allah, also, provided man with guidance and instructions through His messengers, to remind him of his oath to worship one God and to provide him with the detailed teachings, which best suit the different circumstances on Earth.

No rational person could deny that Allah gives accountable creatures a wide range of freedom of choice, allowing them to select the eternal existence they desire.Allah says: {“The truth is from your Lord”. Then whosoever wills, let him believe, and whosoever wills let him disbelieve. Verily, for the wrongdoer We have prepared a fire. Verily As for those who believe and do righteous deeds We shall not suffer to perish the reward of any who do well.
