Make dua to gain wisdom from Allah

Wisdom is a characteristic of righteousness and it is one of God's attributes, Al-Hakeem. This attribute of Allah reflects divine perfection in all matters. 

It is wise to ask Allah for wisdom and the knowledge that is beneficial for both our dunya and akhirah. Here is a beautiful dua from Hadiths that can be recited and practiced.

اَللَّهُمَّ اِنْفَعْنِي بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنِي, وَعَلِّمْنِي مَا يَنْفَعُنِي, وَارْزُقْنِي عِلْمًا يَنْفَعُنِي

Allahumma infa'ni bima allamtani, wa al-lamni ma yanfauni, warzuqni ilman yanfauni

“O Allah! Grant me benefit in what you have taught me, and teach me useful knowledge and provide me with knowledge that will benefit me.”
