A Quranic dua to avoid becoming ignorant

Allah has given humans aql and the ability to choose their thoughts and actions. For this, Allah expects His slaves to act sensibly in all their affairs and do acts that guarantee success both in this world and akhira. 

In order to avoid becoming ignorant and keep on the right path as instructed by Allah, we need constant guidance from the Creator and one of the ways is to supplicate to Him in the form of a dua. 

Please read this dua from the Quran in the Arabic text along with English translation and transliteration. 

Transliteration:

Auzu billahi ann akoona minal jahileen

English translation:

I seek refuge in Allah from being among the ignorant [Surah Al Baqarah 67]
