How to recite and practice

Below is a detailed and step-by-step routine that you can follow, starting right from the morning, evening till night. You must do the recitations as per the numbers/quantity mentioned. You can recite more than thrice if you wish to, but don't do less than that.

In Morning (after Fajr)

After you have offered your Fajr salah, recite the below mentioned Quran Surahs and duas recommended in hadiths.

1) Ayat ul Kursi 1 time
2) Surah Ikhlas 3 times
3) Surah Falaq 3 times
4) Surah Naas 3 times
5) 3 times: Bismilla hil ladi yadurru.....
6) 3 times: La Hawla wala quwwata illa billa hil allyil azim
7) 3 times: Audu bikalimatil hit-taam-maati min sharri ma khalaq

Once you are done with the recitation, blow on yourself, on any particular thing that you ask Allah to protect and finally blow all around you (in all four directions).

In Evening (after Asr)

After you have offered your Asr salah and and made general duas and prayers that you normally recite after every salah, recite the below-mentioned 3 supplications.

1) Recite 3 times Bismillahil ladhi...
2) Recite 3 times La hawla wala quwwata...
3) Recite 3 times Auzu bikalimaatil-laahit taam-maati...

Once you have recited the 3 duas, blow on yourself, on any particular thing that you want protected by Allah and finally all aroud you, in all four directions.

After Maghrib

After having offeref Maghrib salah, recite the below mentioned Surahs.

1) Ayat ul Kursi 1 time
2) Surah Ikhlas 3 times
3) Surah Falaq 3 times
4) Surah Naas 3 times

When you finish reciting the Surahs and verses, blow on yourself, or on things for which you want protection by Allah and then finally blow all around yourself, in all 4 directions, making a protective spiritual shield again.

After Isha (or when going to bed)

After having offered your Isha salah, you can repeat the four Quran Surahs and verses again. If you could not recite these right after Isha, you can recite right before going to bed or sleep.

1) Ayat ul Kursi 1 time
2) Surah Ikhlas 3 times
3) Surah Falaq 3 times
4) Surah Naas 3 times

Repeat the practice of blowing on yourself and in all four directions. If you want Allah to protect a particular thing, a person, an asset, etc, blow on it in your imagination.

24/7 protection from morning till night | Key benefits

There is no question about the power of these Quran verses, Surahs and the recommended duas we just read above. However, what's even more important for us is that whether we are aware of the power of these supplications or not. Simply accepting it as a theory or philosophical idea will not help much because unless we have full faith that Allah is real, His power and mercy is real and His care and safety to us will also be real.

In order to gain maximum advantages and powerful protection, we must practise these supplications and duas in an organised manner, with full faith and thankfulness towards Allah.

Here's what you can do to make the most from these supplications:

1) Be regular in making these duas

It is not enough to make these duas for a few days and then discontinue the practice all of a sudden. Being regular means you have do it daily, after each salah as recommended above. Consistency is the key to the success of any dua because it convinces Allah that we are sincere and honest in our requests. So, don't let laziness and fears overcome you. Just stick to it firmly and with boldness because Allah likes it when we turn to Him with passion, consistency and resilience.

2) Don't just recite words, go deep into them

Gain understanding of what these supplications are all about. It is not enough to simply keep reciting empty words that you don't even understand. A dua is nothing but a way to connect us to Allah for our needs, praise and acknowledgment. So, gaining deeper understanding is the key to gaining maximum benefits.

When you recite each word, take a moment to realize what it means in your own mother tongue, and why you should recite. Understand the nature of threats and evils mentioned in these verses and Surahs. Realize how important it is to stay conscious of these dangers.

With practice, you will soon develop deep connection with Allah through these duas. These prayers will become your most powerful weapon that you can easily use against any danger.

3) Have full trust in the powers and abilities of God

When you recite the duas every morning or at night, have unshakable faith that Allah will protect you from any kind of threat and loss because He is able, powerful, kind, generous to His creation, resourceful, skillful, more hidden than the most hidden threats out there, overpower, subduing, and forgiving.

With these attributes of Allah, we are indeed lucky to have put our trust in the Most Reliable Power for our protection. We must fall in love with the attributes of Allah, which will gradually make us fall in love with Allah Himself Inshallah.

3) Thank Allah that He has made protection available to us

Through these prayers and duas to recite in morning and evening, Allah wants us to recognize the hidden and open threats to our overall well-being. All praise is to Allah that He has drawn our attention to the fact that there are lots of dangers out there and He The Most Merciful wants to save us and keep us protected. In order for us to remain safe, He wants us to first realize that this world is full of risks, dangers and evils, and then direct our attention toward Him for safety.

4) Thank Allah for these duas, Surahs and verses

What if Allah never taught us these powerful sacred words through the Quran and Hadith? Would be we able to seek His protection and shelter then? Let's thank Him that He cares for us and has given us these miraculous verses so we can hold on to Him when we need His help. Let's fall in love with each word we recite in these supplications.

- Thank Him for Ayat ul Kursi and its powers, Surah Falaq and Surah Naas miracles and its healing powers.

- Thank Allah for Prophet Mohammad SAW through whom He has taught us these verses and duas.
- Thank for angels who brought and revealed these Surahs.

- Thank for angels whom Allah assigns to protect us humans. These angels are mighty, powerful, swift and capable of doing what they are tasked to do. They never turn away from God's instructions.

- Thank for the past and present protection, ease, comfort and peace Allah is already giving you. Thank for how He gave you shelter and care through your parents, siblings, elders and relatives.

- Thank how Allah saves us from countless harms moment by moment. Any minute, our lungs can stop pumping oxygen. Any moment an Earthquake can strike, but it's God's mercy that the Earth does not hurt us.

- Thank God for the Internet, this website, this page that you are reading right now and learning how seeking protection with Allah can be done. Thank Him for your eyes that let you read these Surahs.

Let's be very steadfast in thanking the Lord for past, present and coming protection. Let's recall that gratitude and shukr is the most powerful dua according to a hadith. Whatever desire we fix our mind upon with a thankful heart, God fulfills that desire for us. Try it for yourself and you will be amazed by Allah Inshallah.
