Dua for protection from accidents

An easy and powerful dua for protection and safety from accidents: Protection from physical harms in this world is essential for our growth and Allah has given us the tools for our safety. In order for a Muslim to grow in his/her iman (faith), it is important that they are safe and protected from accidents that bring physical harm and disaster. 

This dua should be recited in the morning and evening (preferably after Fajr and Asr salah) 

بسم الله الذي لا يضر مع اسمه شيء في الأرض ولا في السماء وهو السميع العليم

Transliteration: Bismillahil lazi la yadurru ma-asmihi shai-un fil ardi wala fis sama-e  wa-hu-was-sami-ul aleem

English translation: "In the name of Allah with Whose name nothing can harm on earth or in heaven. And He is All-Hearing, All-knowing"

There is an authentic Hadith regarding this powerful dua that any person who recites this dua in the morning and evening, nothing in the universe can harm them. 

Accidents are a form of harm, which results in physical, mental and emotional disaster. With this easy, yet miraculous dua at our disposal, we can attract Allah's power and mercy in the form of safety/protection from accidents. 

As a practice, you can dwell on the meaning of this dua whenever you intend to go out anywhere or do a task that you think carries physical risks. Dwelling on the meaning of this dua and thinking about the limitless power of Allah in protecting you will allow you to gain the benefits of this dua because belief is the most important step toward fulfilment of any dua.
