Dua and prayer for parents: Allah has taught us to treat our parents with kindness and be obedient as they are the biggest benefactor of their children in this life.
It is impossible for a child to return the favour his/her parents have done him/her, but there is a sigh of relief as Allah has told us to do what we can do.

Be grateful to Allah and be grateful to your parents

How to be grateful to Parents?
We should thank our parents for the favours they have done us. This can be done by making a list of favours they have done us right from the start. Take a small journal and list down the favours. You will be surprised to know that there are countless favours you have forgotten and are forgetting at this moment.
You can, for instance, write down at least two favours on a daily basis. When you write down or mention a favour, also write in detail why you are grateful for this favour and how it has helped you and how miserable your life would be if this favour was never done by your parents.
This little exercise will surprise you ! Try it ! Thank your parents for life, your entire existence as you came to this world through them.
Thank your parents for food, shelter and protection they gave you when you had no sense, no power, no knowledge. Thank your parents for education they gave you.
