Zina is one of the most serious crimes in Islam and if, unfortunately, someone has committed it, they must first seek forgiveness from Allah. Committing zina is a serious offence, but one should not lose hope in Allah's mercy. Worrying about the crime and then thinking about forgiveness itself deserves gratitude for Allah.
La Ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimeen
This dua is very powerful and it is mentioned in Quran. This dua was recited by Younus AS (Peace Be Upon Him) when he got trapped in a fish stomach. Younus AS recited this dua from the darkness (from inside the fish stomach and from the depths of the ocean) and it attracted Allah's mercy the Prophet AS was finally relieved of this huge trial after the fish ejected him safe and alive by the will of Allah
